Requirements: Players MUST have Overwatch on their Battle.net accounts in order to participate

Rules

The tournament format will be a 8 team Single-Elimination tournament. Everyone is required to have an Anirevo Play ticket along with tournament registration fee.

General Rules

  1. Player Eligibility
    All players participating in Overwatch competitions must enter their Overwatch (Americas) BattleTag. The gameaccount is needed to invite players into a custom match and to check if the correct player is playing. In order to participate in tournaments, you must have an active Overwatch (Americas) BattleTag in good standing.
    If you do not not meet these requirements, you will be deemed ineligible.
  2. Roster
    Team rosters must consist of at least the minimum number of players required to participate. Teams are only allowed to play with players on their roster with registered game accounts.
  3. Disqualification
    To keep tournaments as efficient as possible, AniRevo reserves the right to disqualify teams. If a team is found to use known exploit for a second time and it is determined to have been done on purpose they will be removed from the event and barred from any future events.

Hero selection limit: 1 per team
All heroes are currently allowed
Disable kill cam: On

Draw Rules
In case of a draw on Assault or Hybrid, a preset Best of One Control map is to be played. The winner of the Control map will win the draw. Please note: Control maps picked from the map pool are to be played as a Best of Five
Recordings and/or screenshots from each round are required

Map Pick / Veto

Unless otherwise specified, the map pick/veto rules are as follows:

  • The highest seeded team will be chosen to start the pick & ban phase
  • Contestants take turns banning maps until the number of maps needed remain
  • Contestants take turns picking maps until the number of maps needed remain
  • Maps are played in the order they were picked. The remaining map is played last

Substitute Players

One substitute is allowed to play for your team during a cup, starting with the next series. Substitutes cannot begin playing in a series that has already begun. Keep in mind that the substitute must have been on the team roster before the cup started.

No show

If a participant is not ready to play 15 minutes after both participants have been matched on the bracket, tournament staff have the right to disqualify that team.

Disconnects

In the case that a player(s) disconnects, the team is allowed to continue to play the match at a disadvantage.

Forfeit

Participants can choose to forfeit a match if they wish. Forfeiting will result in loss of the match and possible penalty points.

Re-host

A rehost can only be played with prior admin approval. In a re-hosted game each participant must choose the same side as they picked at the start of the original match. Disconnects and lag issues will only qualify for a re-host if the issue occurs the within the first 60 seconds of the game.

Observers

Observers are allowed only if both teams agree. Exceptions to this rule are, tournament staff and people who are given permission by an admin (e.g. shoutcasters or streamer). Under no conditions are teams allowed to play with referees other than official AniRevo referees.
